Acting
Born in Poland and raised in Australia, Kasia studied Acting at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne before travelling to New York to study Meisner at The Esper Studio.
She has worked in various Australian TV shows including City Homicide, Rush, The Dr Blake Mysteries, Mystery of a Hansom Cab, Jack Irish, Wentworth and Playing for Keeps. She also appeared in the US series Hunters for the SyFy Network. Kasia made her feature film debut in The King’s Daughter, starring Pierce Brosnan, for Paramount Studios.
Kasia’s theatre credits include the Australian premiere of The One (fortyfivedownstairs/fire curtain co.), Cherry Orchard (Winterfall), We Get It (Elbow Room/MTC), Big Heart (Theatreworks), The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (Theatreworks), NSFW (Red Stitch), You Took the Stars (Melbourne Fringe/fire curtain co.), This is What it Feels Like (La Mama), The Joy of Text (La Mama), Speed the Plow (HST) and Serenade (Melbourne International Comedy Festival).
She made her Polish stage debut in Pozamiatane (Mam Teatr) in 2021.
She is currently based in Warsaw and Melbourne.
Producing, Writing & Directing
Kasia is the Artistic Director of fire curtain co., which supports the development of new work by Australian writers. She produced You Took the Stars for the 2014 Melbourne Fringe and The One at fortyfivedownstairs in 2015.
She wrote and directed WHITE DOG for Red Stitch Theatre Company in 2016 and directed her mother Marta Kaczmarek in the one-woman show Róża for the PolArt Polish festival at Arts Centre, Melbourne. She devised and directed Bring A Nice Dress, a verbatim theatre show about sex workers for the Perth Artrage Festival, and was Assistant Director to Brendan Cowell on Ruben Guthrie at Red Stitch in 2010.
She was editor of the Australian performing arts newsletter The Nosebleed Chronicle for two years.
Kasia is a founding member of the MEAA Equity Diversity Committee which aims to promote and improve diversity in the Australian performing arts industry.

Urodzona w Polsce i wychowana w Australii, Kasia studiowała aktorstwo w Victorian College of the Arts w Melbourne, po czym wyjechała do Nowego Jorku, aby studiować technikę Meisnera w The Esper Studio.
Zadebiutowała w 2007 w serialu “The Circuit”. Od tego czasu regularnie pojawia się w australijskich programach telewizyjnych i wystąpiła także w amerykańskim serialu “Hunters”. Pierwszym filmem fabularnym Kasi był “The King’s Daughter” z Piercem Brosnanem dla Paramount Studios.
W teatrze występowała w Melbourne, Perth i Brisbane.
W 2021 roku zadebiutowała na polskiej scenie w “Pozamiatane” (Mam Teatr).
Kasia jest dyrektorem artystycznym teatru “fire curtain co.”, który wspiera rozwój nowych sztuk australijskich i dzięki któremu wyprodukowała dwa spektakle.
W 2016 roku napisała i wyreżyserowała “WHITE DOG” dla Red Stitch Theatre Company oraz wyreżyserowała swoją mamę Martę Kaczmarek w monodramie “Róża” dla polskiego festiwalu PolArt w Melbourne.
Napisała i wyreżyserowała “Bring A Nice Dress”, spektakl dokumentalny w stylu “verbatim” o prostytutkach dla festiwalu Artrage, i była asystentką reżysera Brendana Cowella w spektaklu “Ruben Guthrie” w 2010 roku.
Przez dwa lata była redaktorką australijskiego biuletynu teatralnego “The Nosebleed Chronicle”.
Kasia jest również członkiem-założycielem MEAA Equity Diversity Committee, który ma na celu promowanie i poprawę różnorodności w australijskim przemyśle sztuk performatywnych.
